Having attended a friend's house for a dinner party of 8, the first thing I noticed upon arrival was the wonderful smells wafting from the kitchen. My friend had ordered food from Slice n' Spice. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food tasted, not just smelled. For starters, I had some festivals, ackee and salt fish, and coleslaw, which were all very tasty. The jerk chicken was something else! I've been to a few Caribbean restaurants and this, hands down, was the best I've tasted. For the main dish, I had goat curry with rice and peas. It was just the right amount of spiceness. The flavours exploded in your mouth! I'll be craving this dish until I have it again. All in all, it was a fantastic night, with such amazing food. I highly recommend trying this cuisine. You won't be disappointed.
